Christmas 2011, Approaching 2012

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a very good Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate.
Adam and I did a lot of traveling since we have gotten off of school for the break. 

We spent 6 nights up at Adam's parents and had an early Christmas there. We saw a lot of our friends. Seeing Jaidine's new house, having my first Star Wars campaign game, bugging the heck out of Maggie (his little dog) and stuff like that. We had our Christmas on the 18th when we were up there. It was awesome. They got me a bunch of stuff too~ I got:

- New jeans, 2 tees, scarf and socks. All of them fit perfect~
- Gift card
- Dove shower kit
- Sailor Venus slippers!! :3 From Adam's sister, Madonna!
- Tabletop ironing board
- Electric skillet


So I'm very happy with everything I got. Technically, the last two things, is Adam and mine. I got a lot more then I was expecting. Nelson and Susan spoil me when ever we go up there, so I should of expected it. Haha~


We also got a gift from our friend Jaidine. Lol. It was quite the gift xD Essentially, I'll just say, it was a lot of stuff to 'set the mood' if you catch my drift.

Leaving on the Wednesday, we headed back to Truro since it was the better day to drive. And holy crap, can I say I was really tired after getting back to the apartment. Taking up all the stuff from a normal trip there is one thing, but we had all these gifts to bring up too. 3 flights of stairs are not my friend! > 3> Though, when we got back, everything kinda ended up all over the place and I was too lazy too really tidy up. 


Saturday, Christmas Eve, we spent the night at my parents. Christmas eve evening, we did our normal thing and went down to my last living grandparent's house, my Grampy's. And a lot of the family went down, and we did our get together down there, which was really nice. I was glad to see a lot of my family again! Lots of laughs were had and it was a fantastic time, like usual. 


Mother Nature was so kind a few days earlier because it snowed and it lasted straight through Christmas morning!~ We are early risers on Christmas day. Always have been. So I was up at 6:45am and we ended up opening presents at 7am. From my parents/sistesr/family friend/aunt/uncle, I got:


- Gift card for Sobeys (Groceries!!)
- Gift card for Bluenotes (from Tiff)
- Gift card for the movies
- All together I got $65 of Wal-Mart gift cards
- Christmas ornament
- Necessities for the apartment (toothpaste, soap, etc.)
- Laptop external fan (from Tiff)
- PJ pants
- Money

Christmas Fast Approaching!

Long time, no blogging! Aha~ ^^:





As the title says, I kinda have been not posting. Why? Mainly because I've been too lazy to bother with it.... Shame on me, I know! ><;; But, I'm here now, to fill you guys in what's been going on since my last post! :D

Let's see. Halloween has past (obviously.) I dressed up for it since I had Life Drawing Class. It wasn't anything special. Just threw on my Rin Kagamine wig, with my magnet dress, my orange stripped t-shirt hoodie and my stripped orange and black stockings. As I said, nothing special but I wanted to get into the fun of Halloween, but I can say, "BRRRR!!" It was cold walking to class that day! xD LOL.

Forwarding into November. First weekend in and Adam went back home to Sydney because his winter tires were at his parents house and was getting them put on. So I spent my first night at the apartment alone. Though a lot happened during that friday when he was gone. I hung out with our friend Meghan and she took me to my first yoga class at the Truro Women's Resource Center. It was free and it was definitely an experience! I enjoyed it quite a bit. Though I could tell right from the get-go that my body wasn't used to it! Haha. I would love to do it again. Meghan also gave me an extra yoga mat, so I could do it at the apartment if I wanted to. I haven't had the motivation to do it by myself. I'm one of those people who likes company doing that kind of stuff. Onto the evening, Jisu-friend came over for a couple hours to hang out. Then she went back over to the dorms and I was alone. It was bad, but it was eerie! >w>;; It was too quiet. Then Saturday morning, my friend Cat came up to Truro and took me Christmas shopping with her.

November 11th. Known as Remembrance Day in Canada, was also Adam and mine's anniversary. We celebrated our first anniversary this year! It amazing considering he is my first boyfriend too~ -does victory pose- ^________^ Everything is going great with us. We love eachother just as much as we did when we first started dating~ For our anniversary though, we really celebrated it on the 12th. We attended Saturday of Hal-con 2011! It was a lot of fun, very exhausting! Saw and hung out with some of my best cosplay friends! <3 I cosplayed a Pokefan! :) I didn't really get my photo taken that much this year but I wasn't really standing out this year. Heh heh... So I don't have any really good photos to show. Though I do have my vlog that I did!


School is coming quickly to a close for the first semester. I'm not really worried about failing any of my classes except 3D animation. I'm not doing the greatest in that class this year! .____.''' It's been quite difficult for me and it's not my favorite class either. So I'm hoping I pass and if I have to do a supplementary project over Christmas break (as much I don't want to) I will, if that what I gotta do to pass. Animation class, all we have left is our lip sync animation. Digital Illustration, one final painting. Which I still have no idea what I'm doing and I only have like 2 weeks to do it! .>o<. New Media Business, lots of writing. Life Drawing, we are having our first gallery opening on the 1st of December at the library,

I've got all my Christmas shopping done. I only bought gifts for my parents, my sister and Adam. And I'm really low on money now! Which really sucks but I'm looking on the bright side of things considering my money has lasted me 6 months with no job. All, I have left to do is finish making some gifts, and wrap gifts. Also, going to be decorating our apartment this weekend (for the most part.) And after the interviews the the teachers on the 13th. We'll be getting ready to head to Sydney for an early Christmas with his parents and then we'll be coming back on the 22nd so I can spend Christmas with my family.

Bedtime is my favorite time of day

Hello again,

I'm in the full wind of my second year of college. Lots of projects, all the time. So much work I've done. It's all just starting to mash together into this big ball of "BUVIDBVUIBIWEWU!!" Lol. Best way I can describe it.

I think I might be coming down with the flu, it seems I'm getting a bit of a cough and I feel extremely tired. Then, again, today was so crazy full of running around, which is more than what I'm used to in my Wednesday schedule. But I can't afford to be sick right now, I find it difficult enough to stay on top of every project! >A< I don't need the flu to help put me behind! Tough up immune system, I got awhile yet before Christmas break.

So Adam and I are reaching upon our 1 year anniversary!! ^______________^ I'm so excited~ Wanna know why? Because to celebrate our first year together, we are going to Hal-con for a day!!~ <3 Super nerdy and I love it~ Since I know he would love Hal-con and probably will have more fun there than at Animaritime just for the fact it's more sci-fi oriented. Our anniversary is on November 11th, which is Remembrance Day here in Canada. I know it's a strange date but that was because during school last year it was the only extra holiday we had no school so we could go out on our third date. Hal-con starts on November 12th, so it worked out well for us this year! :D

I should know within the next few days whether I'm getting my Unemployment started up or not. It will be super awesome if I get that accepted and started up since I need that little bit of extra money. Working isn't an option for my super busy school schedule! :<

Medication is going good! Though the only thing about it is that I have a lot of dreams now. It is known with my type of medication to do that. And trust me, I've had some pretty interesting dreams.... to say the least. Ahahaha.

Vlogging, I'm still doing it. I'm not posting up the videos as much anymore. I'm on Blogger almost everyday, so you should be surprised why I don't blog more. But if you wanna check that out just type in Horusvlog into the youtube search and I should be there. The last vlog I did, it was a full out rant about Animation. It was a bad day last Thursday.

Anyway, I'm going to end it here. I'm super tired tonight and I'm looking forward to going to bed tonight! =w=;;

PS - Just when I was going to upload this, the internet went down!! :/ Good thing I trusted my instincts and saved my blog on Word, so I didn't lose it.

Nostalgia Trip

Hey everyone,

So I have to get this out of my system!! I love giving myself "nostalgia trips". What do I mean? 

Well recently, I've been re-watching Sailor Moon! I'm currently on the Super S season. Sailor Moon was my first anime and first favorite anime. It still is. (As you guys can probably tell with my last post of me getting my Minako wig.) But no, there is so much to that show for us fans,

And growing up, my sister and I had a Nintendo 64. She and I played so many games on that console. And she got me into playing some games, which have been my favorite for a long time and I desperately want these games since I still have the 64. I brought it with me when I moved in with Adam. And I'm not much of a gamer at all. Lol.

Paper Mario 64 is the first game on that list. Paper Mario has so much to offer to anyone. With the cute 'paper' look and feel to all of the characters. The game play is very smooth and the villains were always fun, except there was always those annoying enemies to deal with, like the fuzzies!! But one thing I enjoy the most is the music! I LOVE the OST for this game. My favorite song is definitely for Forever Forest! <3

Second and third game is to the series of Mystical Ninja, Mystical Ninja starring Goemon is the first gameand Goemon's Great Adventure is the second game (which I own.) Besides the fact of fun levels to play with, great introduction of characters and enjoyable free range of running around the towns meeting the towns people. Now, the game didn't have the best graphics but for the 64, I think they were pretty decent. My favorite character was Yae, as soon as she got her introduction in the first game. Tiffannie and I spent endless hours trying to get up that damn waterfall in the first game to get her magical power to turn into the mermaid. The backgrounds and designs for all the areas in both video games were very interesting, you were always excited to get to that next level to see where you would end up next. Getting onto the music. I love how it sticks with the tradition japanese music and also the more upbeat techno-ish feel to get your heart pumping.

Now this game isn't one of my favorites for the Nintendo 64 but it's going to get a honorable mention (I do also own this game.) Super Mario 64. It is a very fun game, I'm not going to lie. I've spent countless hours playing this game but the music is the main thing to mention here. There is that music that always takes you back to remember those annoying places in the game. Like the snow mountain with that gawd damn crying baby penguin, Or the slide music, falling off those damn edges. Or the peaceful music to Dire Dire Docks.

I think I'll end the nostalgia there. Since I just had to get it out and as you can tell, about half of my favorite games is for the Nintendo 64 console. I REALLY REALLY BADLY WANT PAPER MARIO AND MYSTICAL NINJA!! >o< Someday, they will be mine!! And I will play the living heck out of them!!! >:O

Moving on, school started last week but it was mainly for the first years. So we didn't do that much. We had a one hour meeting for Animation and Design 3 class which is when we got our first assignment that is due tomorrow, which I still have to finish. 3 pose sheets right off the bat! With a few more pages of expression sheets. Thankfully all in rough though. Today is when we all officially start classes. This is my schedule for first semester:

Mondays- Life Drawing 3 @ 1:30-4:30pm
Tuesdays- Digital Illustration 2 @ 8:30-10:30am, Media Business @ 10:30am-12:30pm, Animation Design 3 @ 1:30-3:30pm
Wednesdays- Digital Illustration 2 @10:30am-12:30pm, Life Drawing 3 @ 1:30-4:30pm
Thursdays- Computer Animation 2 @ 8:30am-3:30pm (ALL DAY!! x__________x)
Fridays- Animation Design 3 @ 8:30am-12:30pm

I'm onto my full dose of Celexa. I've noticed a big difference already! So things seem to be going well. I'm still quite tired and yawn a lot. ^^; Oh well, what can ya do? If it helps, it helps.

Minako Aino is here~ ;)

Hey everyone.

I know haven't posted in awhile! I'm sorry. My life has been crazy! A lot has happened, since my last blog/vlog. 

Some stuff has happened between my family and I. Though I don't feel like explaining everything, I'll just say, in the end it was me making a video for Mom and Dad spilling my guts of me wanting them accept that I have anxiety disorder and I just want them to support me. It's a very sad video I made for them but they need to see it.

I got my medication. When I'm on my full dose, it'll be 20 mg of Celexa. Which is an anti-depressant. Right now, to start of, I am taking a half a pill for 6 days and on the 7th day, I'll be starting a full dose. At the moment, my body is trying to adjust to the meds. So far the only symptoms I've gotten is a little bit of shakiness in the hands and nausea. And of course, I'm on my monthly gift too. So my body is probably like "OMG! WTH?!" Lol. I'm trying to be very optimistic about this and I'm going to try my best to kick this thing in the ass! >:3

On a brighter note, I got my Minako wig! As you can tell from the title. It's so awesome!! ^^ I love it!



















I love this blonde on me better than my Rin Kagamine wig! It could be because you can really see my darker eyebrows with the bangs the way they are! ^^;

Happened/Upcoming things

Good evening guys~

Figured I'd give you all a little heads up of what is coming up in the next month or so.

First off, I'm currently in Sydney, Cape Breton with Adam. Visiting his family and friends. We've been here since last Wednesday. We are heading home on Tuesday morning. It was a nice visit but it's going to be nice to get back to the apartment. Not gonna lie.

While here, we've went to Michael's (art store, for those who don't know) and I bought a two bags of wooden balls/beads. One a smaller size, another a bigger size because I'm going to making a pokeball necklace for my Dragonite pokefan/trainer for Hal-con.
Also, attended his friend, Ashely and Ryan's, wedding. It was very beautiful. I love weddings! They make me smile so much and my heart melt. I'm one of those girls who dream of their wedding day.

What awaits me when I get back home. My mom's birthday is on Thursday, so I'll probably be visiting her sometime this week coming or the next. Tiffannie, my sister, has moved home. My Minako Aino wig has come in, so I'm excited to get that! : D I'm going to have long blonde hair! Bahahaha! Should be interesting! I have a doctor's appointment on the 30th of this month then it's a Potluck for returning DIAN and IMOG students on the 5th of September! Then school starting on the 6th!

I'm really hoping when I get home that there is a message on the phone about getting a job over at the school! Or get one soon after I get home. Because if I don't get this job then no Hal-con for me! x< I'm seriously looking forward to it. Soooo please please please pray for me guys!!

Digi-crew takes on A@L Super Picnic!

Hey guys,

I attended a cosplay picnic this past weekend, Super Picnic. I was invited in a group just over a month ago with my friends to cosplay the season 1 Digimon crew! Due to my lack of funds, two of my friends spent there time and money on me to make this cosplay (whom I love very much!!) So for this group, I ended up cosplaying Mimi Tachikawa~ She was always my favorite girl character from the first season! C:






















So on Saturday, Adam drove me to Jisu-chan's house and we were kinda late leaving and arriving! ^^; Mimi was 1 and a half hours of fashionably lateness! The picnic started at like 1pm but we ended up showing up around 2:30pm. No matter, Zee came down with my cosplay and I changed in the nastiest public park bathroom you could ever think of! xP And this was my first time seeing the finished Mimi cosplay, it turned out to be perfect except for the shoulders ended up being a little to box-y, a potentially easy fix. And I didn't have her right gloves or her bag but I borrowed gloves from another girl, it was ok.

Toko made our digivices and our crests! And they were awesome!! So we joined the costume contest at the picnic, we didn't place but we had the entire crew, so it was a pretty big group! Either way, winning or not, still had loads of fun!

It's sad since Zee, Toko and Bre all live in New Brunswick so I only get to normally see them at con but they drove down for the weekend to attend Super Picnic and the Zombie Walk (which I didn't attend.) But I don't get to many Anime @ Large events, so I don't really get to see any of the others (Rowan, Tristan or Kabu) who live in NS either. But they are all awesome people and I wish I could hang out with them more.

Lots of laughs, pictures, and hugs happened on Saturday. And so many memories were made! :3























































The last picture here is the group picture taken at the end of the day and this is where I'll end this blog~ I hope to get a new vlog done soon! The original plan was to do one at Super Picnic but I ended up getting so busy that I didn't even get to take pictures! I'm sorry!! D:

New Blog!

Hey guys~

So, yeah, my blog got deleted! :/ Why? I'm not exactly sure why but it might be because it was on the same e-mail account that got suspended from Youtube! Again, why? Because I have old amvs I made like 3+ years ago on there, and a bunch of them got deleted because of Copyright Infringement.

Seriously, I have a bone to pick with them for the reason that, amvs get posted all of the time, sorry we can't take some time to put up every living detail of who the anime/song was done by. Really now! So it was strike three and I'm out! Soooooooo, now all I got is my vlog channel on Youtube. Which it doesn't bother me so much about that, I'm more upset that my blog got deleted. But maybe it was time for a change? o-o;;

Anywho, I felt that I had to get that out of the way. In other news, my friend Cat managed to convince me to buy a bikini top! >______>''' Yup. That's right, self-conscious ol' me was talked into a bikini top. I've been eying it all summer and I finally bought it a few weeks ago. So here is a bad picture of me with it on!
